One of the tensest moments I've ever had as a game creator is the first time you put a controller in the hands of someone else, turning over the keys to your game, your baby, to someone who might not get it. I'm not here to tell you that the feeling ever truly goes away, but I am here to tell you that you absolutely HAVE TO go through this. And not just once... but again and again and again.
It's so important that I'm going to repeat: unless you are making a game just for yourself, it's absolutely critical to get other eyes (and hands) on your game, ASAP.
This week we discuss feedback & why it is important for game devs. We apply the lessons we've learned in our own careers and our journey as developers & startup founders to the creative process of making games. Leave some comments below & share your stories on what you are making & what it takes to find success as an #indiedev.
